Hey Neighbors,
Our BIG Water Heater Giveaway is back, and bigger and better than ever. This year we’re teaming up with local nonprofit, Rebuilding Together Thurston County, and are giving away (and installing!) TWO water heaters:
- 🥇 One to our contest winner
- 🥈 Another to a homeowner in need selected by Rebuilding Together
How to Enter
Homeowners:
Entering the contest is simple. Just complete this FORM and tell us, in 500 words or less, what a new water heater with installation would do for you and your home. Contestants must meet the following qualifications to win:
- 🏠 Own a home that is older than 8 years of age, is the primary residence, and is within our service area (Thurston County, south Pierce County, Centralia or Shelton)
- 💧 Have existing fixtures and water heater in the home. Installation is “like for like.” (E.g. If your system is gas-powered, a gas unit will be installed)
- 🎥 Be willing to be photographed and/or recorded for promotional purposes
You may enter yourself, or nominate someone (as long as they meet the criteria), and a panel of community members will select the winner after the contest ends. After a pre-installation consultation to verify the winner meets the contest criteria, we will install the unit in mid/late January or February.
Contest dates: Nov. 20th – Dec. 31st, 2023

Rebuilding Together Thurston County Partnership:
Rebuilding Together is a nationwide nonprofit with local chapters. Here in Thurston County, volunteer builders and contractors have been assisting low-income homeowners with essential home repairs for the past 20 years.
In 2022, more than 3,800 hours were donated, transforming 82 of our community members’ lives. Plumbing services and water heaters are the most frequently requested home repairs, with needs that often exceed supply and skill. When Olympic Plumbing Technology learned that, we knew we had to help!
As part of our annual BIG Water Heater Giveaway, this year we’re working with the generous folks at Rebuilding Together to help a homeowner in need. We’re giving away a water heater with installation to a recipient in Rebuilding Together Thurston County’s program.
Stay tuned for photos of Ollie on the scene, brightening everyone’s day.
