A Word From The Founders
Hi, I’m Kimberly, and Rony and I wanted to thank you so much for your trust in our company and wanted to share a little more about us.
We started Olympic Plumbing Technology (OPT) back in 2007 when the recession hit. It wasn’t exactly the best time to start a business, but the company Ron was working for went out of business and instead of signing on with another plumbing company, Ron and I knew we could build something better that valued employees and focused on work/life balance.
I was running a daycare center out of our home in addition to caring for our growing family, and from the get go, we were determined to be the best full-service plumbing and drain cleaning service provider in the South Sound. In order to achieve that, I knew I’d have to work on the back end of the business in between diaper changes and the ABCs.
I would go door-to-door to help spread the word: ‘Olympic Plumbing Technology is open for business!’ We quickly jumped from four invoices per month to being so busy that I had to close the daycare and work full time answering phone calls.
We have grown to be an award-winning plumbing company, and now have a full office support staff, a leadership team, 11 plumbing technicians, 4 apprentices, and several long-standing relationships with trusted vendors who support our team behind the scenes.
Our team of highly trained plumbing professionals delivers modern solutions to your leaky faucets, clogged drains, and cold showers. OPT technicians are equipped with top-of-the-line tools and technology like “No-Dig” trenchless sewer repair methods to resolve any of your plumbing problems, large or small. Our team is full of amazing, hard-working people. Ron and I are incredibly grateful for not only our current employees but our past employees as well. Without them, we would have not been able to create the best plumbing service in Olympia; we owe a great tribute to them all. Olympia is our home and we value our community. We believe in supporting and strengthening our community in any way possible, which is why we partner with the non-profit, Rebuilding Together Thurston County to support their mission to make critical repairs that help low-income homeowners stay safely in their homes. In addition, we support our community’s arts scene through the Washington Center for the Performing Arts, as well as sponsoring local sports teams, schools, firefighter charities, and more.

Excellent service experience, Corbin made it all easy❤️ Corbin was calm and assured me that he would have hot water back on soon, and he lived up to his promise. Corbins communication was exemplary, I never felt I was out of the loop even tho I couldn’t be insight.! I got a text and a call letting me know about 25 minutes out, a call after he had figured out the issues, and another call when the reconstruction was done.
We were really happy, my tenants were thrilled to have hot water and Inwas thankful that Corbin made was really top notch and very skilled. He was friendly, professional and an excellent reporter of the company. Sarah was also superb to work with scheduling, and so patient -I was really under the gun getting this on the books and fixed.!

Corbin Moe did a great job checking our leaking washing machine today, Feb. 19, 2026.. He found it was a leak on the seal of the front of the machine, not a water line leak. He then quickly checked our upstairs bathroom sink and cleared the clog of hair that was blocking the drain from working properly.

I am submitting another review today February, 19, 2026 because the sustained quality work by Olympic Plumbing Technology was provided again yesterday. We had a significant kitchen sink problem with lack of draining and needed assistance right away. We talked to Sarah on the phone and we had Steven Shoopman as the technician who arrived later that day (we are Legend members - and it is a wise investment!) and he fixed the problem and double-checked everything. Here is what we get with Olympic Plumbing Technology. Response. Confidence and competence. And this level of professional work that is providing peace of mind as a customer.

Our guest bathroom had slow draining shower/sink/toilet and was due to family visitors over a period of time; you know - things can go wrong in an older home and more use to the guest bathroom. We had Aaron C. to visit and help troubleshoot the problem. Aaron walked us through the steps to diagnose and then fix the issues with precision and knowledge. We also appreciated the preventative advice on how to protect the septic system and keep the lines clear when guests (family and friends) visit and need to adapt to our plumbing and septic system. The appointment was professional and friendly and problem analyzed. Thank you.

Steven, was friendly, professional, while explaining what he was doing while fielding my questions. He explained his analysis of our situation and did the work needed to get our sewer lateral flowing again. This is the third time I have gone to Olympic Plumbing Technologies for emergency help. The owner and techinicians all know their stuff and are able to take the edge off stressfull plumbing emergencies. I really have appreciated their honesty and value. Nate and Morgan were amazing. Nate came out to bid the job first thing in the morning. I was given multiple options at varying price ranges. The new water heater was installed in the garage instead of inside the house like the old one, which required new plumbing. Nate was able to bid the job, get supplies, and do the entire install in the same day. I had 4 and 5 year old kids bugging them during the entire process. Nate and his helper Morgan were extremely friendly and patient with the kids. I will be recommending Nate and Olympic Plumbing Technology to everyone that I know.

Rafael came out to help me with what I thought was a hard water problem but turned out I needed my water heater replaced due to years of sediment build up. He was honest and fair and gave me lots of options and looked for discounts without be prompted and installed a new water heater same day.
