A Word From The Founders
Hi, I’m Kimberly, and Rony and I wanted to thank you so much for your trust in our company and wanted to share a little more about us.
We started Olympic Plumbing Technology (OPT) back in 2007 when the recession hit. It wasn’t exactly the best time to start a business, but the company Ron was working for went out of business and instead of signing on with another plumbing company, Ron and I knew we could build something better that valued employees and focused on work/life balance.
I was running a daycare center out of our home in addition to caring for our growing family, and from the get go, we were determined to be the best full-service plumbing and drain cleaning service provider in the South Sound. In order to achieve that, I knew I’d have to work on the back end of the business in between diaper changes and the ABCs.
I would go door-to-door to help spread the word: ‘Olympic Plumbing Technology is open for business!’ We quickly jumped from four invoices per month to being so busy that I had to close the daycare and work full time answering phone calls.
We have grown to be an award-winning plumbing company, and now have a full office support staff, a leadership team, 11 plumbing technicians, 4 apprentices, and several long-standing relationships with trusted vendors who support our team behind the scenes.
Our team of highly trained plumbing professionals delivers modern solutions to your leaky faucets, clogged drains, and cold showers. OPT technicians are equipped with top-of-the-line tools and technology like “No-Dig” trenchless sewer repair methods to resolve any of your plumbing problems, large or small. Our team is full of amazing, hard-working people. Ron and I are incredibly grateful for not only our current employees but our past employees as well. Without them, we would have not been able to create the best plumbing service in Olympia; we owe a great tribute to them all. Olympia is our home and we value our community. We believe in supporting and strengthening our community in any way possible, which is why we partner with the non-profit, Rebuilding Together Thurston County to support their mission to make critical repairs that help low-income homeowners stay safely in their homes. In addition, we support our community’s arts scene through the Washington Center for the Performing Arts, as well as sponsoring local sports teams, schools, firefighter charities, and more.

I never write reviews, however; I just can't say enough about the service I received from not only from the company, in general, but more specifically their technician (is that the word?) Nate!! And his trusty "assistant" Morgan.
I had a very old combo hot water heater/furnace unit. A project many people couldn't or wouldn't take on. I shopped around and knew it was going to be well over 10,000 dollars to replace.
After talking to Nate, I knew his knowledge and their willingness to work with me was the way to go, and I was not disappointed!
Professional, kind, meticulous and completely thorough. My step father who owned a machine shop for over 50 years was very impressed with the welding and workmanship!
I can honestly say I will NEVER use any other plumbing service.

Highly recommended. Had an emergency leak related to the line feeding the refrigerator; gave these folks a call, a young fellow came out here that day, got into that very tight crawl space and took care of the issue. In a way, glad I had the problem, because now I have a new plumber. Reliable plumbers not an easy find, and the shenanigans shady ones engage in can be worse than the issue one wants to hire them for. I have a bigger issue coming up, and these folks certainly going to get the work. A hardy thanks, and Happy New Year.

PS: In the question below regarding rating the price I paid.As I have not had a toilet pulled and have the mounting hardware upgraded since the 2000 - 2002 time period, I did not know if it was any of the first three choices, so I checked "unsure". What I do know is that I knew there was a problem and Corbin fixed it, explaining to me what he was doing and why. From that perspective, the price I paid is worth it.

We hired Olympic Plumbing to replace our 2-compartment sink with sharp inside corners with a 1-compartment sink with curved corners. Raphael had to measure the opening and then look for a sink that would fit. He is a pleasure to work with - very professional, courteous, and skilled. We highly recommend Olympic Plumbing.
Also, the office kept us informed on arrival time. It was all a positive experience.

I had two issues, my water pressure was too high, and my tankless water heater was making a rattling sound and much louder than it used to be. Olympic Plumbing sent plumber Gaige Stidman to determine what the issues were. I was very impressed with his knowledge of my tankless water heater; he quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it. Runs like new now. He also installed a water pressure valve to the water main water line, that brought my water pressure down to a level safe for my appliances. He felt it was most likely the high-water pressure is what caused the damage to the tankless water heater. Gaige knows his stuff and is a very likeable guy; I'll be requesting him for my future plumbing needs.

This is Rafael's second visit to our home. Our prior experience was positive, so we didn't hesitate to call again when we needed a new 80 gal water heater installed in our home. Rafael and Connor were prompt and professional. They stayed until they could verify all was in working order and household faucets had proper water pressure. Office staff were friendly and attentive during scheduling and follow up. We highly recommend Olympic Plumbing.
