Hi, I’m Kimberly, and Rony and I wanted to thank you so much for your trust in our company and wanted to share a little more about us.

We started Olympic Plumbing Technology (OPT) back in 2007 when the recession hit. It wasn’t exactly the best time to start a business, but the company Ron was working for went out of business and instead of signing on with another plumbing company, Ron and I knew we could build something better that valued employees and focused on work/life balance.

I was running a daycare center out of our home in addition to caring for our growing family, and from the get go, we were determined to be the best full-service plumbing and drain cleaning service provider in the South Sound. In order to achieve that, I knew I’d have to work on the back end of the business in between diaper changes and the ABCs.

I would go door-to-door to help spread the word: ‘Olympic Plumbing Technology is open for business!’ We quickly jumped from four invoices per month to being so busy that I had to close the daycare and work full time answering phone calls.

We have grown to be an award-winning plumbing company, and now have a full office support staff, a leadership team, 11 plumbing technicians, 4 apprentices, and several long-standing relationships with trusted vendors who support our team behind the scenes.

Our team of highly trained plumbing professionals delivers modern solutions to your leaky faucets, clogged drains, and cold showers. OPT technicians are equipped with top-of-the-line tools and technology like “No-Dig” trenchless sewer repair methods to resolve any of your plumbing problems, large or small. Our team is full of amazing, hard-working people. Ron and I are incredibly grateful for not only our current employees but our past employees as well. Without them, we would have not been able to create the best plumbing service in Olympia; we owe a great tribute to them all. Olympia is our home and we value our community. We believe in supporting and strengthening our community in any way possible, which is why we partner with the non-profit, Rebuilding Together Thurston County to support their mission to make critical repairs that help low-income homeowners stay safely in their homes. In addition, we support our community’s arts scene through the Washington Center for the Performing Arts, as well as sponsoring local sports teams, schools, firefighter charities, and more.
